It is housed within the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. Built on a foundation of research, The Agency develops inspired and informed campaigns to build brand loyalty among a segment of the population that will spend trillions of dollars in their lifetimes.

Laurent Burman

Executive Director

Laurent drives the vision, strategy, service offering, business development and partnership activities of The Agency. Prior to this role, he was the Global Chief Client Officer and Chief Growth Officer for WPP’s Possible, a digital agency with 24 offices globally, which became one of the fastest growing and most successful agencies in the WPP portfolio.

Natalie Asorey

Associate Director, Student Engagement

Natalie is a lecturer in the department of public relations and most recently was head of social media at BODEN, a leading cross-cultural communication agency based in Miami, where she oversaw the McDonald’s USA scope of work as Hispanic agency of record. Natalie works directly with the students at The Agency to improve engagement and culture.

Mark Rottensteiner

Associate Director, Client Services and Operations

With a public relations background and extensive experience in account management, he assists in multiple roles on a daily basis. Prior to this role, Mark gained professional experience managing state campaigns and serving as an account coordinator at Washington, D.C. lobbying firm, Ballard Partners, on a foreign government account. He handles account direction and daily operations at The Agency.

Dan Windels

Faculty Advisor and Lecturer - Department of Advertising

A brand strategist turned advertising instructor, Dan is passionate about understanding people and finding new ways to solve every communication challenge. Dan now serves in an advisory role to the students within The Agency.

Raegan Burden

Faculty Advisor and Lecturer - Department of Advertising

Before entering academia, Raegan acquired 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing and communication. She has worked for J. Walter Thompson, Turner Broadcasting, R.R. Donnelly, Millward Brown and other firms in a range of agency roles and now serves as an advisor to the students at The Agency.

Mickey G. Nall

Faculty Advisor and Professional-In-Residence - Department of Public Relations

For more than 30 years as a brand strategist and innovator Mickey has been leading agency professionals to develop award-winning campaigns for clients. As the former managing director of Ogilvy Atlanta and now as a professional in residence in UF's College of Journalism and Communications, Mickey leads the professionals and students in assisting clients to realize their brand promise.

A mobile tech pioneer and UF grad, Eric has a passion for creating digital products that are beautiful in both form and function.

Marcia DiStaso

Associate Professor & PR Department Chair

Marcia is an academic impacting the public relations profession through research driven insight, especially in the areas of digital media and corporate purpose.

Robyn Goodman

Associate Professor & Advertising Department Chair

With an extensive background in mass communications, Robyn has been recognized and awarded for her scholastic work and teaching. She teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research interests are visual and health communications.
